ElectroPop; On the remix album RE:PLUGGED, Jaune Toujours (ànd their gypsy spin-off Mec Yek) have several of their songs being revisited by a fine selection of DJs and producers, such as DJ Gaetano Fabri (BE), DJ Tagada (FR), DJ Buscemi (BE), Shazalakazoo (RS), No Luck Club (CAN) and DJ Scratchy (UK). Jaune Toujours is, according to Womex, the most important world music trade fair ,Genre-busting accordion and brass-led brew of rock, chanson, ska, gypsy, latin and Balkan ingredients served up by a high-class posse of the most active musicians on the Brussels music scene". Last summer, Jaune Toujours had Belgium dancing for Europe. On Jaune Toujours cult hit ,Ici Bruxelles" thousands of people learned and danced a choregraphy, in 12 different cities at the same time. Now RE:PLUGGED brings up some surprising Ici Bxl remixes, ranging from reggae, over electro to very funky stuff.
